Good News! Dongde Hydrogen Energy Has Been Awarded the Title of “Yantai City Green Factory”

On June 18, the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology in Shandong Province announced the list of municipal-level green factories for 2025. Yantai Dongde Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Dongde Hydrogen Energy”) was awarded the title of “Yantai Green Factory” in recognition of its outstanding performance in environmental protection, energy conservation, and carbon reduction.

Green factories are a key component of the green evaluation system established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the manufacturing sector and accelerate the establishment of a green manufacturing and services framework. Dongde Hydrogen’s successful inclusion in this list represents official recognition of its achievements in integrating green development principles across all stages of its operations, from R&D and design to production, manufacturing, and operational management.

From the very beginning of its establishment, Dongde Hydrogen Energy has set the goal of building a green, zero-waste factory, embracing five key principles—intensive land use, non-toxic raw materials, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy—to achieve environmental sustainability and efficient resource utilization across all stages and aspects of its operations.

To date, Dongde Hydrogen Energy has filed over a thousand patent applications, ranking among the top 20 global hydrogen technology companies. Its product portfolio covers solutions for diverse applications, including membrane compressors, liquid‑driven compressors, natural gas–hydrogen blending equipment, and liquid hydrogen systems. The company has also independently developed the world’s first ionic‑liquid‑sealed compressor, which is widely used in petrochemicals, power generation, steel, transportation, aerospace, and other sectors. In recent years, Dongde Hydrogen Energy has further built engineering capabilities for hydrogen filling stations, refueling stations, and liquid hydrogen plants, participating in numerous national and provincial hydrogen demonstration projects across Shandong, Guizhou, Guangdong, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, and other regions, thereby making significant contributions to green and sustainable development.

This recognition as a Green Factory in Yantai City follows other significant milestones, including Dongde’s designation as a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche fields, a Shandong Province Gazelle Enterprise, and its selection for a major hydrogen energy demonstration pilot project under the province’s 14th Five-Year Plan. It marks another important honor, signifying that Dongde Hydrogen’s production management system in the field of green manufacturing has reached an industry-leading level and represents a key achievement in the company’s efforts to build an environmentally friendly enterprise.

Dongde Hydrogen Energy fully recognizes that accelerating the development of green factories is of great significance for addressing environmental pollution in the manufacturing sector, driving industry-wide and regional green transformation from pilot projects to broader implementation, and further establishing a high-quality system of green factories. Green transformation is not only an inevitable response to environmental challenges but also a strategic opportunity for achieving high-quality development.

Going forward, Dongde Hydrogen Energy will remain committed to driving a green future through innovative technologies. With “intelligent manufacturing” as its guiding principle and “green” as its vision, the company will continue to write new chapters in the localization of high-end equipment and sustainable development, contributing Dongde’s expertise and strength to building a Beautiful China and achieving the dual carbon goals.
