On May 13, 2025, the diaphragm compressor unit independently developed by Yantai Dongde Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Dongde Hydrogen”) officially departed for Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The delivery of this unit will provide a stable and efficient hydrogen compression solution for the oil–hydrogen integrated refueling station along the coal‑transport route from Ordos to Shenmu mining area, helping to drive the local traditional coal mining industry toward green energy and contributing to the goals of energy structure adjustment and sustainable development.

It is reported that the integrated energy station, located in Yijinhuoluo Banner—the third-largest coal-producing county in China—is a combined oil and hydrogen refueling facility. The core equipment of the hydrogen refueling section comprises Dongde Hydrogen Energy’s self-developed DZ45–750 diaphragm compressor unit series, with an inlet pressure of 5–20 MPaG, a discharge pressure of 45 MPaG, and a flow rate of 750 Nm³/h. To accommodate the complex operating conditions and stringent environmental requirements of Inner Mongolia, Dongde Hydrogen Energy’s R&D team customized the compressor design to meet:
Stable operation at -26°C: Equipped with an intake air pre-cooling circuit for precise exhaust temperature control, and featuring insulated cabinet construction and explosion-proof electric heaters, it can operate reliably in extremely low temperatures.
Achieve zero safety hazards in production: Employing advanced hydrogen concentration tracking technology and a high-precision temperature and pressure monitoring system, it responds to anomalies within milliseconds, providing dual safeguards through proactive alerts and intelligent shutdowns to ensure that high-risk operations continue safely as usual.
Reduce operational and maintenance costs: The intake filter differential pressure monitor automatically prompts maintenance schedules, and an industrial-grade AI control hub is configured to build an autonomous decision-making system, enabling fully unmanned operation across the entire process.

Hydrogen energy, a widely available, green, low-carbon, and versatile power source, plays a pivotal role in building a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system and in achieving the goals of peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality. Yijinhuoluo Banner in Ordos produces 200 million tons of coal annually, with proven coal reserves of 56 billion tons; its extensive coal‑chemical industry alone generates substantial amounts of hydrogen each year. The commissioning of the Yijinhuoluo Banner Integrated Energy Station marks a solid step toward complementing and substituting traditional and new energy sources. Looking ahead, Dongde Hydrogen will continue to leverage technological innovation and scenario‑specific solutions to bridge the “last mile” of the hydrogen value chain, thereby supporting the nation’s dual carbon goals.
