Dongde Hydrogen Energy Supports the Acceptance and Commissioning of Liupanshui, Guizhou’s First Integrated Hydrogen Energy Station

Liupanshui, May 10, 2025 — The first hydrogen‑integrated energy station in Liupanshui, Guizhou Province, has successfully passed acceptance testing, marking a key milestone in the development of the “Hydrogen Corridor” in Liuzhi Special District. With a daily hydrogen‑filling capacity of 2,000 kilograms, the station provides efficient refueling for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, injecting new momentum into Guizhou’s energy‑structure transformation and green transportation system. Reportedly, the station’s core equipment—the diaphragm compressor—was supplied by Yantai Dongde Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a nationally recognized “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche, specialized, and innovative fields. Dongde also participated in the construction and integrated commissioning of the entire facility, fully demonstrating its end‑to‑end service capabilities, from equipment manufacturing to complete station delivery.

Guizhou’s first integrated hydrogen energy station in Liupanshui is a large, stationary refueling facility with a daily hydrogen‑filling capacity of 2,000 kilograms. It demands high operational stability over the long term, primarily serving fuel‑cell vehicles that require extremely pure hydrogen. The use of diaphragm compressors ensures zero pollution risk and low maintenance costs. “Currently, the station has three dispensers and can reliably refuel 130 to 150 heavy‑duty hydrogen trucks per day. When all three dispensers operate simultaneously to fuel three trucks, a full fill takes only about 20 minutes,” said Che Meng, the station manager, in an interview.

According to reports, the hydrogen refueling station is equipped with two Dongde Hydrogen diaphragm compressors featuring an innovative membrane chamber design and an intelligent monitoring system. These units can deliver a high-pressure output of 45 MPaG at inlet pressures ranging from 5 to 20 MPaG, with a flow rate of 1,500 Nm³/h, meeting the station’s demands for high‑throughput, efficient hydrogen fueling. Remote operation and maintenance via a cloud platform significantly reduce operating costs, laying the technical groundwork for the large-scale deployment of hydrogen infrastructure. “Refueling takes just over ten minutes, providing a range of 400 to 600 kilometers, and the driving experience is virtually free of noticeable noise or exhaust fumes,” said Zheng Dongren, a truck driver with more than 30 years of experience, in an interview. He added that hydrogen-powered heavy trucks offer an excellent driving experience, with superior handling, reduced noise, and greater time and effort savings.

Hydrogen Energy in East Germany: From Equipment Supply to Construction Services, Supporting the On-Time Delivery of the First Hydrogen Refueling Station

The new-energy integrated refueling station in Liupanshui combines LNG and hydrogen fueling facilities. During the project’s early stages, Dongde Hydrogen not only supplied the core equipment but also undertook engineering construction and full‑station commissioning services. “Upon receiving the client’s assignment, Dongde Hydrogen promptly assembled a specialized team to conduct on-site surveys, optimize the construction plan, and efficiently coordinate procurement, production, and construction phases, ultimately delivering the project on time and to a high standard, earning the client’s strong recognition,” said the project delivery lead at Dongde Hydrogen. This collaboration fully demonstrated the company’s end-to-end service capabilities—from equipment manufacturing to complete station handover—providing a model for deepening regional cooperation in the hydrogen sector.

Empowering the Coal–Coke–Hydrogen Industrial Chain to Advance Green and Low-Carbon Development

It is reported that the hydrogen for this new energy station comes from a coal‑coke hydrogen comprehensive utilization demonstration project in Guizhou. Going forward, the station will leverage Liuzhi Special District’s abundant coke oven gas resources and its potential for green hydrogen development to further integrate the entire hydrogen industry chain—production, storage, transportation, refueling, and utilization—thereby helping the region build a clean energy system. Dongde Hydrogen stated that it will take this project as an opportunity to continue participating in the construction of the Liuzhi Special District hydrogen corridor, providing diversified compressor products and engineering services to promote the large‑scale application of hydrogen in transportation, chemical processing, power generation, and other sectors, and to accelerate the achievement of the region’s dual carbon goals.
