Lanzhou, Gansu, April 15, 2025 — The DZ20-1000 diaphragm compressor unit, independently developed by Yantai Dongde Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Dongde Hydrogen Energy”), has been successfully delivered on-site for the Lanzhou New Area Green Power-to-Hydrogen Project (Phase I). With a hydrogen production capacity of 1,000 Nm³/h, this project marks a new stage in the development of hydrogen energy infrastructure in Northwest China.

40-day efficient delivery highlights technical prowess
Leveraging a specialized project-based management system, Dongde Hydrogen has set an industry benchmark by completing the process from project initiation to equipment delivery in just 40 days. The Dongde DZ20-1000 diaphragm compressor unit delivered this time features a highly integrated skid-mounted design, with an inlet pressure of 1.5 MPaG, a discharge pressure of 20 MPaG, and a flow rate of up to 1,000 Nm³/h. Filling a single 23 m³ hydrogen storage trailer takes only 2.5 hours, representing more than a 30% efficiency improvement over conventional equipment and providing core hardware support for the large-scale deployment of green‑power‑to‑hydrogen applications.

Multi-dimensional Security Protection System
Addressing the high-risk nature of hydrogen energy equipment, Dongde Hydrogen’s diaphragm compressor units are equipped with an intelligent monitoring system that tracks key parameters such as pressure and temperature in real time and automatically triggers alarms and shutdown interlocks in abnormal conditions. This “double-safety” design features a built-in overpressure relief valve for rapid gas venting, while the enclosure is fitted with hydrogen concentration detectors and flame sensors that activate explosion-proof fans for forced ventilation, ensuring equipment safety under extreme operating conditions. Furthermore, to withstand Gansu’s severe winter temperatures down to −20°C, the units integrate an intelligent temperature control module to guarantee stable operation in low-temperature environments.
